Shiryu is a family man in Next Dimension, he has to provide for his girl and adopted infant (so judging by your reply, you probably think is okay to leave your woman and child by themselves to go blindlessly towards a dangerous quest with no way to ensure that they will be fine on their own, I asked you this question and didn't reply so I'm allowed to assume as much) with Kouga, Saori is athena and there's no time to be babysitting some kid who should already be able to take care of himself since he's a saint already. I never said they were like siblings for the last time.Īlso it's not even close to be the same. Read properly dude, I know the whole Shunrei and Shiryu relationship is implied that they are together (I never call shunrei his lover since there has been no 100% confirmation in Next Dimension, but living together while raising a child pretty much says everything) I know that man. Note: Talking about ikki, he probably saw the new cloths and elements from omega and said "fuck this shit" and went back to wear his 3rd version of his cloth when he returned because he's fucking Ikki and he can do what he wants.Ībout Shiryu again.Oh god. Seriously man, I've never seen anyone defend the elements like you do. Why do you think they don't bring anything of that on this season? most likely because they listened to the fans of the franchise and at least we got improvements with things like the cloths (or why kouga never uses his light element attack anymore). Seriously, the the elements didn't add anything innovating to the franchise, they were there just because the writers were lazy fucks who went the cheap way to put the original characters off the fights for all season 1 and wanted to go with the cliche "Light vs Darkness" theme with abzu.which like I said, made Abzu act like some stupid emperor palpatine/Ansem rip-off who didn't shut the hell up about darkness and Kouga like Sora from Kh's who wouldn't shut up about how pretty and good light was. Again, cosmos isn't something that can be limited to things like element rock, paper, scissors. Elements had nothing to do with that since elements do not exist in SS (and In Omega are pretty much ignored now). You are aware you pretty much contradicted yourself on the elements right? Of course Ikki beat Hyoga because he was much stronger and outsmarted him. I know some like Cassios didn't even know about cosmos. When I said Kouga wouldn't fair well was during the time he was trained by shaina and when he didn't even believe Cosmo existed and just out of pure luck he pulled it out for a bit. So can we at least assume the fights were dangerous and can get you killed if the other prick feels like killing you? Plus, the pope in that era was Saga, you never knew in what kind of mood he was in XD. We have our rights.Ībout the Sanctuary fights. This is pretty much a summarized version of why I don't like him and it seems we are never going to change opinions which is fine. In the original anime sure seiya did spam a lot, but that's not even his fault but most of the filler battles consisted in mostly doing this. He rarely uses his brain in fights unless someone tells him.
Also a big problem with him, specially this season is that he needs to learn stuff that saints should already know (this actually applies to his team as well). He almost never comes out as a likable person. He was Heero from Gundam Wing or Thouma from Tenkai-Hen). This might sound shallow also but i do not like his design or voice either and it's annoying to listen even if I'm getting used to it a little better (and let's be honest, his voice actor outside of his role of kouga is freaking awesome.
Like how he gets to have almost everything so easily and gets special treatment like crazy. The thing many people hated about seiya (which I never did) in the original are the same with Kouga but worse in many cases like personality wise among others. Legacy characters for me are great most of the time but in my opinion I really do not like Kouga. In manga examples Joseph Joestar over Jonathan Joestar in Jojo (I actually prefer jotaro over the rest though). For example since you seem to know about comics, I prefer Wally West over Barry, Or Kyle Rayner over Hal Jordan. I prefer Seiya for what he is and not only because he's the original. And like I said I'm done with that since clearly it's not going anywhere. Of course I'm talking about Kouga, that was pretty much where the discussion came from.
